As we are expected to get some colder weather later this week, please remember to be careful when you are out as road conditions can change very quickly. Sleet, snow and ice can cause your vehicle to lose traction as well as not stop correctly. These conditions can also cause loss of visibility, making it difficult to see dangers on the road ahead of you.

With Christmas behind us, and New Years Eve fast approaching. Please remember to celebrate safely and follow these tips:

1. Please do not drink and drive. It only takes one drink to delay your reaction time when operating a motor vehicle. Remember there are services out there such as Uber, Lyft and City Taxi's to get you home safely.

EMT Class

December 19

The Spring EMT Class will be the first Hybrid Online Class, that will consist of dictation online with practical and skill assessments at the Henley Fire-Rescue Training Center, running through the end of June 2017. The Goochland County Fire-Rescue Department will be offering an EMT that is instructed by Frank Chinn, NREMTP, EMS Education Coordinator. This program will be open to both members and ...
